Argo Tractors announce new Landini distributor for New Zealand
Italian tractor manufacturer Argo Tractors S.p.A. is pleased to announce the appointment of Agtek Ltd as its new exclusive distributor for Landini products in New Zealand, effective as of 1st of January 2012. The agreement includes the post sale and spare parts service for McCormick products and will become a dedicated reference point also for McCormick end users.
Argo Tractors Export Sales Director, Mario Ribolla, explains, “we are extremely satisfied to announce this distribution agreement with Agtek Ltd. Managing Director of Agtek, Mr. Gayne Carroll, was instrumental in the original success of Landini in New Zealand so knows the product well and has a strong passion for it. The opportunity to join forces with Agtek was simply a natural progression for both companies. Between us we will build a new nationwide after-sales network that is dedicated to providing the after sales service that our customers deserve.
The New Zealand tractor market is acquiring a growing familiarity with tractors manufactured by Argo Tractors and as such is one of the few manufacturers able to boast that none of its product are built or assembled in developing countries and its end users can be assured of its quality coming from countries like Italy.
With this joint front we have been able to establish strong competitive prices and an excellent warranty program. Agtek Ltd, headquartered in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, will be representing the Landini full range from 25 up to 225 HP including open field, crawler, isodiametric and specialized tractors for vineyards or orchards.
Landini is a brand owned by Argo Tractors SpA. Argo Tractors, with its headquarters in Fabbrico (Reggio Emilia, Italy), manufactures tractors under the Landini, McCormick and Valpadana brands and belongs to the Argo Industrial Group.
