McCormick innovations at Eima International 2010

McCormick technology has always been a reference point in the tractor world. This is because the McCormick range is constantly upgraded, improved and completed so as to offer a performance that only a market leader can provide.
True to its high-level technology policy, McCormick will be presenting numerous upgrades at Eima 2010. They involve more or less all the ranges, from the specialized versions with improvements to the Orchard series, which now feature powerful, high-performance 120 engines, to the high powered tractors with their new engines and a re-vamped design for certain models.
Thanks to these innovations, McCormick tractors are able to provide a performance that's increasingly more able to meet the professional users' most demanding requirements, with the added attraction of a new level of comfort and a modern, aggressive look.
New McCormick tractor with Tier IIIB engine
An advanced, high-performance engine. Tier IIIB ready.
McCormick Tractor with Tier IIIB engine is a generation of quality tractors featuring tip-top performance and is able to meet the requirements of both farm owners and farm-contractors who cultivate vast areas of land.
This series will be represented at Eima by the 232 HP with its new 6-cylinder FPT Tier IIIB engine featuring SCR technology.
McCormick MC and CX Series
Restyling for a new look.
A new, modern and attractive looking front, with round headlights built into the grille. This will be the new look of McCormick's MC and CX tractor families, now an extremely advanced proposal in the medium-high power bracket. The two ranges have been subjected to a significant restyling process that has remarkably improved their functional characteristics and design. After the introduction of the new cab, the two series now feature a re-vamped look and have become decidedly advanced products
McCormick F Series tractors
New models with 3-cylinder engines. A New 120 engine for the entire XL, F and GE range.
McCormick's F Series specialistic tractors in the GE version with 3-cylinder Tier 3 engines will make their official debut at Eima. They are “85” models with a 79 HP power rating. Recently upgraded, McCormick's range of specialized tractors now offers high-level comfort and performance. With its pioneering roof and bonnet design, the new range also features an extremely advanced and professional hydraulic circuit allowing the power lift to be regulated with greater accuracy. Moreover, a rear and front PTO are both available plus new hydraulic functions. The tighter turning radius makes these tractors even easier to manoeuvre between the crop rows.
The F series now includes the new 120 engine, thus this innovative range also features a 110 HP tractor for all the F, XL and GE versions.
The new McCormick CL 70
The new CL 70 model adds to the range.
A versatile, simply designed and extremely sturdy tractor, McCormick's CL is a true utility machine. The range now includes the new CL 70 model in addition to the more powerful CL 80. This new McCormick tractor is equipped with the pioneering, high-performance 68 HP 3-cylinder Perkins Turbo Aftercooler engine.
McCormick GM Series tractors
Improved comfort for the operator thanks to the new cab.
The versatile and easily handled GM series sports a renewed cab that offers an even superior level of comfort. To optimize the visibility, there are now just 4 pillars. Pressurizing in the cab has also been improved, thus less noise is perceived by the operator while the cab interior is totally isolated from outdoor dust.
The air conditioning system has been renewed and is now more efficient (+15%).
Last but not least, the cab of the GM series features a more modern, up-to-the-minute design.
McCormick T Series crawler tractors
McCormick's crawler tractors are now more comfortable and feature new functions that make them more versatile to use.
McCormick's T Series crawler tractors have been renewed to improve their level of comfort and technical aspects.
The upgrades include the new seat and a new layout for the controls, levers and pedals. All this has achieved a generally superior level of comfort and makes the machines easier to handle.
The rear power lift of the new T series has also been given a larger lifting capacity achieved by using 2 supplementary external hydraulic cylinders (available on request).
Moreover, the power lift can be regulated with greater accuracy as its sensitivity has also been improved.
The innovations include the control valves which, thanks to use of a hydraulic engine, allow the tractors to be used with implements such as pruning attachments, that require a continuous supply of oil. If front implements must be used, the T Series crawler tractors can now be fitted with hitherto unavailable hydraulic front taps.
Lastly, the range includes an electrohydraulic control for the PTO and a new 3-point hitch that allows the implements to be raised further from the ground.
